When you gave me your trust to represent you on the NTPUD Board I promised to keep
rates low while working within our budget to provide capital reinvestment in our aging
sewer, water, and facilities systems. During my eight year tenure our changes have
improved operational efficiency over 15%! ! Our rates still remain among the lowest at
Tahoe.
I promised recreational improvements and, with help from grant funding, we’ve added a
children’s playground, discgolf, soccer and ball fields, new boat launch and beach
facilities and coming soon a new dog park which includes ADA access and parking to the
tennis court complex. We’ve committed to refurbishing the community owned event
center to make it more marketable while reducing operating costs.
As a realtor I understand the many impacts to home owners: from economic downturns,
values and needs for fiscal responsibility. I believe it is the NTPUD’s duty and job to
continue to provide superior service at a most economical and efficient manner and I
promise to meet those goals.
